So I'm going to throw this idea for a roleplay out there. If enough people show interest in participating in such, I'll create the topic in the main board.

It's a simple neverending concept really. We just throw our characters onto the Last Train (as seen in the similarly titled third series of the show) and hope hilarity ensues.

Characters are defined in the Profiles sub-board. I'm of the impression of once you define a character there, you can use it in any RP here.

That's normally-- from what I've seen-- how forum roleplays with canon characters do things. But, I suppose the forums I've been to with that aren't the best example, since the forums are usual complete RP forums-- not community ones.

However, if agreed, a person can be the canon character for one RP, and someone else can pick it up for another.

When I made this place, I wasn't sure how everyone would feel accustomed to wanting to play canon characters. If one person should do it, or if it varied by RP topic.

    Psst.

Are humans allowed for the Train?
    I wasn't sure how 'cannon' we were staying to the show-- and I couldn't remember any humans on board XD;

So I wanted to be sure with you if you didn't mind, or if I'd have to cook up a different character :3

Not very 'canon' at all, really. True, there weren't any humans in Last Train since there was no Guest character (unless you count Haniwa in the first episode), but since there are at least two human profiles, I think we can make an exception.

So yeah, human characters are welcome to board.

I don't have any restrictions on characters, except that they have to be defined in the Profiles board first. So just define them all. ^^

Iiiiis nothing going to happen with Chef after all? Just wondering since it seemed hinted, but if not I can, like... make something else happen? XP I just wasn't sure since it seemed events were in motion buuuut... yeah, just didn't wanna mess up anything ><; I've overly paranoid/cautious this way.

I just wanted to know before I type anything so I know what I'm doing and not make an awkward post or anything, haha.

Didn't feel right asking in the actual RP thread, so hope ya don't mind me askin' here.

Don't worry, this is the sorta place to voice such concerns, I think.

I have no idea if Chef will payout, myself. From information ascertained from the series proper, the Chef usually knocks them off near immediately, perhaps the night of the "offense." However, I have no idea how much time passes in the time jump near the end of episode 4 of Last Train to indicate how or when he got Pig Gentleman...

If anything, I did those things because it seemed in Chef's character to do them. I'm pretty sure he would take offense at an order only being a glass of water, since you can't really do much with plain water.

So for our purposes, let's say that... you're OK so long as you don't enter the dining car alone. But we might want do find some way to dispose of the "Mystery Red" at least before it stinks up the car or something.

should we create characters or choose characters or what? i'm really into roleplaying sometimes i play 20 characters at a time. Also if someone made a Gregory House rp should it be like the first guest one person plays their own oc and everyone else chooses canon characters and then after that story is over its someone elses turn as a guest.

As the first post in the RP itself explains, you may use any OC character that you yourself have created a profile for in the Profiles board. Creating a character profile is as simple as copying the text of the skeleton profile in that topic, and then filling in the blanks in a new topic.
