Heather blinked down at the pile, taking notice to the two small figures clinging to the Artist. Great. More of them. The one with an axe through his head making her stare even more in disbelief. She shook herself out of it, looking more at the Artist "Are you... What happened?"

James lied there dizzily, his head now throbbing. "That... wasn't funny at all."

Mummy Dog laughed, letting go of the Artist's leg and landing on his feet before spinning in a circle, "Let's go that again!"

"Huh? That you, ma'am?" the Artist said, perhaps a little louder than he should have. He tried sitting up a little, but the whole ordeal had tired him out, so he remained lying on the floor. "This little ruffian here," he continued, giving James's arms a little shake to indicate him, "took your sketchbook. He was intending to color in the pictures."

He watched the sight and saw her looking down and decided to take a seat. He didnt want to interrupt them or be noticed by the squirrel. Considering the best move for him was to sit back watch the scene and hope someone was selling something to drink onboard this train or eat even. His stomache growled some as he couldn't remember the last time he had eaten. he rubbed his temples what was going on here? He wasn't sure it seemed pretty chaotic.

The girl blinked again, trying to grasp the situation. "I... What?" So her nearly dying wasn't enough, some of them on here were trying to destroy her stuff? Well, considering the former, that should be the least of her worries, but her priorities was never in the best order.

James released his grip, allowing him to relax on the floor and get his bearings, even with the Artist still gripping his arms. He looked up at the girl; another human? Well, this trip was going to be interesting for sure! Especially whenever all the other passengers found out. There always seemed to be fun when humans came around.
"We were just play!" He stated, as if nothing wrong had been committed.

The Artist made use of this development to pull James's hands off his eyes. He blinked a while while they adjusted to the light.

"For the record, 'play' is a relative term," he said. "Also for the record, I'm not letting him go until he tells us where in that other car he hid the sketchbook."

J began to drift off for a moment as he sat by himself resting his head and being quiet not paying attention to his surroundings. He would remember his sister holding her in his arms promising he'd protect her from anything he loved her like nothing else in the world and then she disappeared. disappeared from his life. maybe thats why he was here looking for the lost world. Hoping she was here but if she was what would she be?

James gave the Artist another smirk, "I'm pretty sure it's not in there anymore." He said, almost mockingly.

Heather gave him an odd look, "What do you mean by that..?"

"I gave it away to someone." He stated matter-of-factly. "It would of been hard to play hide-and-seek if I was carrying it." His eyes were taunting them, knowing perfectly well he had made this harder for the squirrel, which is what he had wanted. This really was a fun ride so far.

Heather just stared at the mouse, "Gave it aw... Gave it to WHO?" So many drawings not yet scanned. That was heartbreaking.

"You'll just have to find out! Hehehe!"

The Artist took on an angry expression and growled at the troublesome brat. Not only did they not even have a ballpark of an idea where on the train the sketchbook was, but there was no guarantee that the new holder would treat it any better than the pest did.

Thoroughly fed up at this point, he released James's arm and tossed the mouse away a little. "You and your friend have until I get up to get outta here before before I kill you," he declared as he started to climb to his feet.

Nosey Neko would be roaming through the train looking for someones business to stick her nose in. humming the meowmix song she would move through the kitchen and sniffed something odd smelling in a supply closet she opened it and out fell dental barber who she began licking affectionately "Mrowr are you ok?" She asked innocently

(I find it a bit worrysome you're trying to wake a person who wants to kill residence in this current room. When they haven't had a chance to leave it yet. Just, ya know, saying XP)

The kids, still chuckling and giggling, took off running back through the car they had fallen from, and were gone in an instant.

Heather sighed, rubbing her head wondering what else could possibly go wrong. She offered the Artist a hand, "Well, thanks for trying. I'm sorry my bag caused you so much trouble." She forced a smile, still trying to push everything Dental Barber had said to the back of her mind. At least, as far as she could tell, the Artist and some of the others were not as crazy as he had been. And she hoped others like them outweighed others she could encounter like him.

(( Dang, this is why I hate being in a different timezone to you guys, there's so much to catch up on!))

While all of that had been going on, Mama Dog had been quite happy just eating the meal that Heather had let her have.
The meat had been delicious, despite how it had looked; she just couldn't think why the human girl had not wanted it.
" Maybe the poor dear wasn't hungry" she thought outloud.

Turning her attention to Iggy, who was still running around; the young woman dog's eyebrows furrowed slightly.
" Iggy, don't run around too much...what if you end up bumping into someone?"

Iggy stopped running, but she began to pout.
    " But it's fun..."

" Fun or not, you could end up hurting someone or even get hurt yourself" Mama Dog responded, she knew full well of some of the dangers on the train...one particular one being the train's head chef.

Iggy just sighed and plodded over to where Mama Dog was, in her own mind, she could see nothing wrong with running around on the train; all the other kids were allowed to do as they pleased, but not her.
The four year old found that to be quite annoying.

Mama Dog then turned her attention to their surroundings, just where had everyone else gone?

He took her hand and got to his feet. "It's not over yet," he told her. "We still gotta find that sketchbook." He pulled open her bag and started rooting around in it. "I need a canvas!" he shouted. "Paper! A napkin! Something I can draw on! Quickly!" It was then he pulled out one of the many pencils that he had thrown in there earlier; thank god it still had a point.

The barber remained motionless on the ground, as the damage he had taken still was very recent and hadn't clotted. It was unknown whether he even could heal on his own. For the time being, he would be out cold, at least until a few hours have passed.

( I want him to get up later, when the time is right <u> )

Nosey would then get up bored leaving the unconcious form of D.B. and going off on her own to find someone more interesting to talk to sleepy people were so boring. She mrowred and skipped off into the next compartment

[Right, my first post in here. Deep breath, fingers crossed...]

Sitting up in the further back seats of the train's next carriage, a bored passenger sits glaring out the window, a camera-shutter-like aperture half closed over his single large red eye. He mutters crossly to himself, the grilles on his mouth and torso flickering.
For the moment, he has not yet noticed the passenger who has just entered.

    (here we go!)

A young lady enters the train when it makes its next stop, obviously confused as to the various passengers. She takes out her pencil from her hair, opening her sketchbook when she takes her seat. She stares out the window longingly before making her way to the dining car. She needed her food after the day she had. She takes a look at the menu and waits patiently to make her order.

J awoke with a start at a bump in the train. How long had he been asleep for? It didn't really matter he looked around and rubbed his head with a migraine he wondered if there was some place to get something to ease the pain. J stood up and moved to the doorway to the next cabin opening it up slowly and looking around in case someone else wanted to pick a fight.
