Thankfully I've hooked my scanner up to the laptop, so if any re-scans are needed, just let me know.

I'm ready whenever too (although I've been absent on this forum for a while; sorry xc), but I may not be as fast as I was in the past, since school started and my classes are giving me more home work than last year. It shouldn't take me too long though.

First, I'd like to thank you two for hanging on. I originally thought we would be able to handle this all before the end of summer, but given the experience I have from my other project this previous summer, I suppose that wasn't as feasible as I originally thought.
With that in mind, it's time to get this Show back on the road! *brick'd* The Night 5 raw is available, and our antagonist this time is... Neko Zombie?! My, this is certainly another world alright... With the info of the previous chapters, I can guess what the precise theme of this chapter is.

I suspect a rescan of Neko's "name card" page may be necessary, but I'll defer final judgment on that to Nilgiree.

There are a few things that I'm not all that proud of, like I had to make up a few lines for that squashing darkness spread since I couldn't find those on my script. But I think it turned out alright.

Great work so far, S.C! ( I hope you don't mind me calling you that ^^; )
As far as I can see, there's no problems here.
I actually wonder what that stuff Toru's sinking in, actually is.
And we get some shots of the inside of a train too...is anyone here thinking of the 'last train home' as taken by the First Guest in the series?

I don't mind being called SC. Most everyone on the Internet calls me that. At least, unless they're being derogatory.
Actually, the handles in the train remind me more of the bus I ride to school every day, which leads me to believe that's actually a subway. Granted, that doesn't make the scene any clearer...

Sorry for being a slower than before;; Chap.5 is cleaned and translated!

I had some trouble with a couple of words though.
On file 113, there is a sign behind Toru. The kanji has a meaning of 'the philosophy of deciding a way of life by process of elimination,' or at least something along those lines. Is there a short phrase like that in english? I also think there should be a better phrase for 'the kindness from people in close, small towns' than 'downtown sympathy' on file 112(I don't mind keeping it that way too much though). And with the scenes where Toru is being called on by kids, I don't know if 'Gramps' or 'Uncle' will be better. The literal translation of Ossan is 'uncle', but it's a name for more elderly people, so if we want to make it sound more rude 'Gramps' is more fit.

@ Nilgiree - It's okay < : )
There's no pressure from us, you're free to work at your own pace.
And real life does have a way of butting in.
And Yay for the new chapter!
Hmm... I'm not too sure about a shorter meaning for that kanji in english, although it does sound familiar and I'm sure I've heard it somewhere, it's sounds something like... "Life's Decisions, Narrowing down the choices"
Downtown sympathy sounds alright to me, we should see what S.C thinks.
Given the way that the kids are mocking Toru's fish catching abilities, I think using 'Gramps' would be more appropriate.
And also, thank you so much for cleaning and translating the chapter, what you do for us is really appreciated! ^_^

OK, um... The translations for 108 and 109 seem to be switched around... I don't think I messed up the page order, unless one of the scans got flipped again, which I don't think is the case.
On two of the three brought-up points, I'm really not sure where to go. On the third, however, yeah, "gramps" sounds more appropriate for rude young kids. That tends to be the way things go in other Japanese translations I've seen. (On file 102, by the way, I don't think that's Tooru talking; the apparent balloon tail is part of the background and not connected to the balloon, so it's probably one of the other kids at the booth off-panel.)
Concerning the kanji sign, I don't recall a more or less exact phrase off the top of my head, and I'm struggling to come up with an appropriate adaptation. My original idea was, "One possibility eliminated," although we could go with a little rewording of Becca's idea, "Narrowing down life's decisions." It's sorta up in the air.
The "downtown sympathy" bit is a little clearer, though; I think it should be "small town sympathy." Perhaps that's what you had in mind, Nil, but couldn't remember the exact phrase.
Because I have a couple essays due at the end of the week, it'll be some time before I can start localizing the chapter.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and Nilgiree, I don't think you OK'd the finished chapter 4 text insertion.

Thanks guys. Becca's suggestions clicks the most with me, and 'small town sympathy' is just what I was looking for.
I'm fine with chapter 4, and good luck with your essays SC!

I feel unsure overall. Maybe it's because I should've been doing my homework. Maybe it's because PiCTOBiTS has been kicking my butt this afternoon.

Sorry for taking so long with my response O.@;
As far as I can see, there's no problems with the localization of night 5 either.
It looks fine to me!

I'll get on the chapter 5 text insertion over the weekend.
Since I'm fairly eager to get to chapter 6, featuring GHS's biggest ham, I've arranged its raw files. However, I am having trouble getting them on MediaFire, so it will be some time before I can upload them.
Also, because I couldn't stand not having Gregory's catchphrase from the anime in here when it didn't fit the chapter 1 script, I made this silly little thing some time ago (link because, well, its the size of a page): [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

If Mediafire's giving you trouble ( it's not the size of the RAW is it?) you could always upload the RAW to MegaUpload, it's a pretty good site for big uploads ( the only annoying thing is the Ad's)
And XD!
Oh Gregory, him and his catchphrases.

It's not the size; in fact, because of the lack of an eyecatcher I suspect, the chapter six raw is the smallest of the raw files. According to the message, it's a "Connection error. Error# -502."
I doubt it's the first one, so I'm going to try uploading on Google Chrome or Internet Explorer or something, see if that helps. If not, then I'll hit MegaUpload; I actually have an account there, but it's been ages since I've had to use it.File upload failed due to a network timeout. Please retry upload.
Depending on your browser, this may have been caused by attempting to upload a folder. Folder uploads are not permitted.

Sorry this took so long; Chap 6 is cleaned and translated!

The only problem I had with this translation is where the girl is talking about JB's personality. I think she basically meant he's the type that would make a judgment about a person and wont change his opinion (which he most likely believes is a fact) easily. Something like that :T

Thank you again, Nilgiree!
Hmmm, I think for what the girl says about Judgement Boy; he seems to be very steadfast in his opinions.

I'm going to assume that you both approve of the final Chapter 5 product. With that in mind, I'll update the topic.
I'll probably have to shorten Judgment Boy's cries of "murderer" to "killer" to get them to fit in the text boxes. I don't know when I'll get around to localization, but I should have plenty of time during the Thanksgiving break next week.
Hey, y'know, with Nil in Japan, Becca in I'm pretty sure the UK or at least somewhere in Europe, and me in the U.S., we're an international GHS translatin' team. Heh.

I feel unsure about this one. Probably because I'm in some sort of creative funk due to external circumstances. Hopefully not too much editing needs to be done.

pg 133- I don't mind either way, but 'judgment time' clicks with me more than 'judgment game'
pg 120- Sorry, I meant to type 'bowl' not 'bowel,' so he didn't say anything about a towel;;
Other than that I'm fine with it

OK, I made those fixes. Also I made a slight revision to the second judgment call to match the previous one.
